Cacao Ceremony
Cacao is a wonderful tree that grows in the tropical regions of the Earth and is native to Central and South America.
The fruit of the Cacao tree is the source of all the world’s chocolate.
In a Cacao Ceremony, the fruit of the Cacao tree is made into a beverage and is consumed to find a deeper, clearer connection with yourself and your relationship with Life.
This is made possible through the magnitude of alkaloids, minerals, and hormones that the Cacao plant naturally offers combined with the intention and curiosity of a sacred ceremonial space.
The ceremonial Cacao (100%) that we enjoy in this ceremony comes from the beautiful mountains of Costa Rica. It is a natural elixir that contains muscle relaxing magnesium, gently stimulating theobromine, and bliss bringing anandamide.
Cacao benefits the physical body by supporting the health of the heart, easing the flow of oxygen in the blood, and increasing the production of the happiness chemical, serotonin.
On an energetic level Cacao can alter our perceptions for the better bringing a feeling that is spacious and light, strengthening our connection to inspiration and offering a greater capacity for Love and compassion.
Each Cacao Ceremony is different and is guided by the intuition of the present moment – incorporating meditation, sound, movement, energetic play and healing.
In this experience you will learn how Cacao works in general as well as how Cacao works specifically with you.
It is a space to relax and receive energetic nourishment and a time to begin or deepen your relationship with Cacao in a ceremony created for you.

Ceremonies are offered in person in the South Pacific region of Costa Rica and remotely by video call.
Video call ceremonies receive Ceremonia Cacao via mail before the date of our ceremony with written guidance on how to prepare and serve yourself :)
*If booking a remote ceremony and you live outside of Costa Rica, please choose a date that allows 2-3 weeks for your Cacao to arrive to you by mail.
